Georgina Butler began her professional endeavours as an arts journalist by writing previews, features and interviews for the Milton Keynes Citizen’s GO supplement.
My writing for newspapers has centred around being a contributing reporter for the Milton Keynes Citizen newspaper and its affiliated publications.
The Milton Keynes Citizen GO leisure and entertainment supplement is published weekly.
In addition to being an established contributor, I also have experience of deputising for the Leisure Editor. Deputising involves compiling the full supplement (sourcing stories and pictures, writing copy and editing pages).
Georgina has been working for me since 2010 – first as an occasional contributor to the GO leisure supplement of the Milton Keynes Citizen newspaper. It quickly became clear that her knowledge, eagerness and ability to turn around accurate, clean copy should be utilised.
She soon began writing across all the leisure pages, and consistently proved to be an asset. She has stepped in to research and write the entire section in my absence, meeting the challenge with her typically positive style.
