Writer for Total MK, the website for everything in Milton Keynes.
Total MK delivers online editorial covering the arts, lifestyle and news in Milton Keynes.
I have been a contributor since the website launched in April 2014. As a contributor, I find stories, source pictures, organise and conduct interviews and, of course, write copy.
Although my work appears across the website, my particular focus is on dance and theatre – previews, reviews, features and interviews.
Georgina has been working for me since 2010 – first as an occasional contributor to the GO leisure supplement of the Milton Keynes Citizen newspaper. It quickly became clear that her knowledge, eagerness and ability to turn around accurate, clean copy should be utilised.
She soon began writing across all the leisure pages, and consistently proved to be an asset. She has stepped in to research and write the entire section in my absence, meeting the challenge with her typically positive style.
Since April 2014, Georgina has been working for the Total MK leisure website – contributing editorial on a range of topics, but specialising in articles around dance and ballet, her absolute passions.
She is a dance aficionado and it shows in her interviews and reviews of productions, which are glorious in detail and brilliantly executed.
Georgina is a pleasure to work with and her understanding of the topics she writes about is illustrated in every sentence.
These traits, together with a sunny nature and professional manner, make her the perfect ambassador for Total MK.
